Panasonic To Boost Capital Ratio To 30% By FY15
OSAKA (Nikkei)–Panasonic Corp. (6752) will raise its capital ratio to at least 30% by the year through March 2016 from 23.4% as of this past March 31, Managing Director Hideaki Kawai told The Nikkei Monday.
Yageo Release First Quarter Results for 2013
Yageo Corporation (TAIEX: 2327 TW) today announced its first quarter results. Net consolidated sales of NT$ 5,935 million, up 8.2 % q-o-q and 6.5 % y-o-y. Gross margin improved 0.8 percentage points to 19.9%. Operating expenses as percentage of sales was 10.8%. Consolidated operating income for the quarter reached NT$ 542 million, up 46% q-o-q, with 9.1% operating profit margin. Net consolidated profit after tax in the first quarter reported NT$ 194 million, or NT$ 0.09 earnings per share.
